The Journey
Welcome to Scambaitingtools.com — a resource hub dedicated to exposing scams, empowering scambaiters, and making life harder for online fraudsters.
My name is Mark — developer, writer, and a small-time scambaiter. Like many others, I spent countless hours on 419eater.com during its golden age. While I wasn’t the most active baiter, I loved following some of the cleverest and most entertaining baits ever documented.
The Story Behind Scambaitingtools.com
Scambaitingtools.com was originally founded in 2012 by two veteran baiters from 419eater.com. It quickly became a valuable resource for scambaiters worldwide. Unfortunately, updates stopped, and the site seemed abandoned for years.
After repeated (and mostly unanswered) attempts to contact the site’s owners, I finally received a reply — from an email I sent back in 2018! Long story short, ownership was officially transferred to me in January 2025.
Rebuilding the site from scratch took time, but I believe it was worth every moment. Fighting scams and helping people avoid fraud is something I’m proud to contribute to.
What’s New and What’s Next
The original site, created by The Dane and Dharma, was an excellent foundation. My work focused on:
- Updating all outdated links
- Adding new tools and resources
- Planning future updates to existing tools and archives
There’s still more to restore, and I’m committed to bringing everything back — better than ever.
The Goal
At Scambaitingtools.com, the goal is simple: equip you with tools, knowledge, and confidence to fight back against scammers. Every wasted minute of a scammer’s time means one less victim they can target.
Support the Mission
If you’d like to support Scambaitingtools.com, you can do so by purchasing NordVPN through my affiliate link. It’s a win-win: you get robust online security, and your contribution helps keep this site running.
Of course, everything here is free to use — no strings attached.
Get in Touch
I’m not very active on social media, but you can find me on Medium, where I occasionally share some random insights and thoughts.
For suggestions, feedback, or tool submissions, feel free to contact me. I’ve also inherited a backlog of unanswered emails from the site’s earlier days — and I’ll be working through them one by one.
Thank you for stopping by Scambaitingtools.com.
